gentoo based live media ecosystem
- undead usb, originally designed to be a temporary funtoo development sandbox, can serve as install media, but is not in iso format, and is beyond the scope of this article.
- Gentoo live "boot media" is a fine choice for installing funtoo, and will be the primary focus of this document.
- Sabayon desktop
- pentoo
- calculate desktop live media.
- xgent64 live cd
- redcore
- system rescue cd.
you can also use the Debian live media ecosystem to install.
We suggest using etcher to write iso images to usb media.
