In order to install Funtoo Linux, you will first need to boot your computer using a Linux-based Live CD or USB stick. We recommend the Funtoo-based Area31 Funtoo LiveCD (1.5GB download) as it contains a modern kernel as well as a full graphical environment. It can be burned to CD/DVD or installed on a USB stick.
